Anime Expo is one of the largest Anime Conventions in the United States, and lucky for us, there were lots of fashion brands who came out to show their wares!
Jewelry, headbands, and sunglasses were all big this year at AX, there were lots of new and charming designs from independent artists on display
Always in full force at Anime cons are Lolitas! This year was no exception! We ran across an awesome little shop called "Sultry Vamps" Where they make everything custom to order, including your measurements and fabrics!
Holley Tea Time used her art skills to make a lots of Lolita inspired tees and adorable undies!
Mixing Street wear and Lolita Colors was "Hello Cavities!" Their designs were fun, modern and their presentation was excellent!
Our next big category was Streetwear! It was so interesting to see how many artists were inspired by Hip Hop and street wear!
Glaxxxy is a brand straight from Japan making a stop at Anime Expo on their American tour! Their wares were high quality and beautifully made with unique design
Hoodies from Geeky U are just the right way to mix urban wear and cosplay
OMOCat's crew necks are always a hit bringing the edgy art to the forefront
Fangrrlzz was found at the artists alley with awesome punk/zine style tees!
All in all, it was really interesting to see how many independent artists were making their own statements with original art and characters. I loved seeing the influence of fashion movements at Anime Expo and came away spending a lot more than I should have!
